Hi!

Hi! My name is April, and I am a content creator, an Author, a podcast creator, a wife, stepmom, full time worker bee and an overweight vegetarian! Welcome to Nottadiet! Here, I am going to share with you my journey of weight gain, weight loss and back again. I will warn you…I tend to swear like a sailor when I am drinking and I do encourage a beer, or wine if you prefer, during our LIVE interactions.

I am forty-two years young and I have been married for over half of those years to a man who hates false eyelashes. He is also a podcast producer over at WEadventureNW. He is not an overweight vegetarian…he rides dirt bikes and stays in great shape. I joke with him and remind him often that he married an indoor pet!! I am not one to enjoy the adrenaline fueled life that he does, and really, it only adds to our relationship.

So, what can you expect from this Nottadiet experience? Well, a lot of rambling. A lot of Netflix documentary recommendations. A TON OF GRATITUDE! And hopefully, along the way, you discover things about yourself that you never knew. Just to let you know, I am not Doctor…I have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and while my opinions on wellness and food are researched, I do HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to research as well. If I have learned anything, it is: You Must Believe In Your Truth.

I will be referring A LOT to this book: Who’s the Girl in the Fat Suit?

Mostly because I wrote it.  Also, though, it contains my thoughts and feelings about weight loss and weight gain and dieting. Don’t go and purchase a copy…I will mail you a —FREE COPY– signed of course, when you make a monthly pledge. The pledge amounts are listed on the right hand side of this screen. =)

Here’s the description of the book from Amazon:
Her mother warned her! She told April, one day all of the sodas and candy bars would catch up to her. When it happened, and yes, it happened…April stood shell-shocked in front of the bathroom mirror staring at her larger than life reflection.

Blaming a happy marriage, genes and the curse of her mother, April set out on a journey to improve her self-image. She tried everything from red and green highlights in her hair to piercings and acrylic nails, but still found the fat suit to be all consuming.

Who is ready to talk about everything that encompasses dieting, not dieting, wellness and overall health? Add in some meal planning and trackers too! Let’s get this show on the road!
