Stitch Fix Reviews

Let’s Talk Fashion…

Kidding!! I am the worst at styling myself. Honestly, if it weren’t for my amazing husband I would look like a transient most days. I came across the website: STITCHFIX and I cannot wait to show you all what has been chosen for me this month!

Here’s how it works: You go to the website, sign up and answer some questions about yourself. Be honest when you answer the questions. It is actually pretty easy since you are answering them all online. I totally recommend you set up a Pinterest board specific for Stitch Fix. There will be a spot for you to copy and paste the link for your Stylist. Oh! Right, I forgot to mention that!! You get a Stylist to choose clothing for you. I love this! I love the idea behind this entire company. I know it is going to make my life so much easier and my wonderful husband will be happy knowing I am being styled rather than shopping without supervision.

You do enter a credit card during the sign up process. You choose the date and the  frequency for your style fixes to ship. Each time one ships, you will be charged $20. If you decide to keep nothing of the 5 items in your Stitch Fix you will lose that $20. If you purchase/keep even one thing, the $20 goes toward your purchase. (AWESOME!) If you decide to keep all 5 items, they give you a 25% discount on the entire shipment. Plus, they give you 3 days to decide. Which is plenty of time to try on the selections. They provide a return envelope and pay for the return shipping. I cannot wait to share my reviews with you each month I receive a new FIX!
Here’s a bit about the company…

Stitch Fix was founded in 2011 by Katrina Lake. After consulting for retailers and having a fashionable sister as her personal stylist, she dreamed up the idea while attending Harvard Business School. Katrina believed a new retail concept could help busy women discover and explore their personal style, and make it easy to find figure-flattering clothing. Inspired to help women look and feel their best, she shipped the very first Stitch Fix packages out of her apartment on 41 Hawthorn Street in Cambridge, MA.

The secret to Stitch Fix’s success has been a balance of art and science. Our personal stylists are armed with the best tools and technology to help them hand-select clothing and accessories that fit your lifestyle and body shape. Some of the pieces we recommend come from tiny jewelry vendors in San Francisco, others from the same vendors you’d find at larger department stores. And some are exclusive to Stitch Fix, designed based on knowledge from our clients. What’s more, we’re able to use your feedback to create a more customized and delightful retail experience with every single delivery. It’s like a trusted friend shopping for you— without the hassles of a mall.

Our Stitch Fix personal stylists are passionate about fashion. They’re natural trendsetters, style problem-solvers and outfit artists. But, more importantly, they love hearing from and about you. Our trained stylists are motivated most by thoughtful communication with clients to help discover the best pieces possible. It’s this trust that’s at the heart of the Stitch Fix experience.

Pretty awesome, right? If you want to give it a whirl, check it out here. While I do pay for my fixes, I do receive a small credit if you sign up as well with that link. Stop back soon, or follow my blog to receive notification on my FIRST FIX FASHION SHOW!
